Seneca Elementary is putting together food baskets for families in need this Thanksgiving. First grade is responsible for potatoes. Each time we receive potatoes in our class we get to add a part to our turkey. The class with the most potatoes at the end of the week earns a party.
We've really been stressing the main reason we're bringing these items (not for the party). Makenna says we're collecting potatoes for poor little kids who don't have food or nothing. Tristen says the families just need a little help and since we have money we should help them.
Zane says, "It makes me feel good to be nice to others. That's why I'm always happy."
