Mrs. VanWagner's third grade class did a play about Veteran's Day for our class. The students learned a lot.
We also watched a video clip to "God Bless the USA". The kids were very attentive during it and a couple stood and saluted.
Tristen said a veteran is somebody who has been in the military. He wants to be in the army when he grows up.
Wilson said some veterans have had to fight really bad people.
Kennedy said a veterinarian is someone who helps pets. Then I reminded her that it's Veteran's Day, not Veterinarian's Day.
All the kids wanted to say thank you veterans for our freedom and for protecting us.
