Marcus and Jacoby came to read to our class today.
They read "My Daddy Snores". It raised some interesting conversations about some of the kids' families!
Many of the kids asked them questions. Of course they started with "What team do you play for?" and "What color are you?" They also asked about other sports they liked to play, their favorite foods, and what they like to do on the weekend.

Jacoby said one boy asked him if they were playing the Vikings this weekend.
They signed autographs and accepted some cute pictures that the students drew for them. Hannah gave Marcus a cute picture that showed Marcus with huge muscles and it said "I lick Marcus". Of course she meant "like"! They posed for some pictures with the kids. After the boys left the kids had some great things to say about them.
Kennedy said they're good football players because they run fast.
Josh said he noticed that they're on the Indian team and he likes the Indian team.

Tristen found out that Marcus is from Atlanta Georgia. Tristen says his uncle is too!
I commented on how nice Jacoby and Marcus were and how they seemed like they were really good boys.
Brayden said they do seem like good boys because they don't steal.
Hannah said, "I think they're good 'cause they can pick up people and they don't kill."
We really enjoyed Jacoby and Marcus. I am very proud of all the high schoolers who have read to our class. What a great group of seniors!
