I guess I need to be careful what words I use to teach things. We have been talking about different types of sentences. Last week we discussed "commands". I explained that a command tells someone what to do.

Early this week Katie told me her and her mom made cupcakes and asked if I wanted her to bring me one. I said, "Of course I do!" She responded, "Ok, I'll command my mom to give you one."
