We have been reading The Chocolate Touch in class.
Yesterday the students were given a Hershey Kiss. We used our five senses to learn more about the chocolatey treat.
We told what it looked like and felt like.
We smelled it and listened to the sound as we unwrapped it.
Then we tasted it! The kids all came up with great descriptions and we wrote a list on the smartboard.
Then we learned about concrete poems. The kids did an amazing job.
